The School of Mediterranean Music in Paris has been pursuing its cultural and artistic mission for six years in an educational and open way to Arab-Muslim heritage in general and the Mediterranean in particular. And like every year, the EMM is committed to highlighting the work of its students by inviting them to present on stage a repertoire drawn from our invaluable and rich musical heritage.
This year again the EMM of Paris renews the musical appointment with amateurs and enthusiasts of Arab and Tunisian music. It offers a concert, which we hope will be exceptional, entitled: Chants d'amour" which will take place on Friday May 26, 2017 at 8 p.m. at the City Hall of the 5th arrondissement. This year's theme having focused on the love poems, it is from this choice that we have selected and worked throughout the year on famous pieces that we intend to perform to a wide audience, initiated and uninitiated , and through which we hope to make him travel the moment of a concert.
Around an original program, characterized by the diversity and richness of instrumental and vocal sounds, some sixty artists, instrumentalists and singers, will be called upon to perform the classics of Arabic music in a news interpretation. Or a musical journey through the heritage and history of music in the Mediterranean countries.
As at every concert, you will be captivated by the enchanting game of Maestro Wassim Ben Chaouacha, _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d whose music explodes musical colors. An exceptional musical event not to be missed.
