1. CARD “ EMM ”
1. 1 The card " EMM " is mandatory. It is annual and personal (parents and children of the same family cannot have the same card or pass it on to each other) and cannot be reimbursed. The payment of this card represents your registration at the School of Mediterranean Music in Paris.
1.2 The card is given to you after validation of your registration ; it entitles you to discounts in partner music stores, and to discounts for concerts organized by EMM Paris.
2. COURSE ADMISSION AND PAYMENTS
2.1 The registration file will be considered complete upon receipt of all the elements: the registration form duly completed and signed, a photocopy of an identity document, an identity photo and the signed payment accompanied by the mention " read and approved ".
2.2 The payment of the courses is made in advance and according to the formula and the duration of commitment that you have chosen : quarterly, half-yearly or annually.
2.3 Admission to courses depends on receipt of payment; any late payment may result in non-admission to classes until your situation is regularized.
2.4 No reimbursement of payment is granted, even in the event of absences. An amicable agreement can be studied by the school management.
2.5 It is recommended to notify EMM of any change in personal information in writing (e-mail or letter).
2.6 Payment for courses can be :

or paid in cash in one installment (check or cash).

either split into 3 installments for a quarterly commitment

be split into 5 installments for a six-month commitment.

either split into 9 installments for an annual commitment
The checks are handed over to the secretariat and the receipts will be staggered at the beginning of each month in the case of several checks (see registration form and its explanatory note).
2.7 Any commitment to a formula and to a duration is due in full.
In the event of partial or total cancellation, refer to the “ annulation ” section.
2.8 Decreasing rates are only applicable for multiple registrations of children or parents from the same tax household. A 5% discount is granted only on request from them.
2.9 The non-payment of the contribution entails the final and immediate expulsion of the student.
2.10 The accounting department reserves the right to rectify the invoice in the event of a billing error.
2.11 The School of Mediterranean Music reserves the right to cancel any registration at any time of the year without any refund in the event of inappropriate behavior on the part of the student or his legal guardian towards the teachers or the administration.
3. ATTENDANCE AND ABSENCES
Please arrive at the school five minutes before the start of class. Teachers and other students rely on your regular presence in class
3.1 Each delay is deducted from your session. The classes of latecomers are shortened so as not to shift the classes of the following students.
3.2 During the session, no one other than the student will be authorized to attend the lesson, except for a trial lesson in the Workshops or with exceptional authorization from the teacher and the school management.
3.3 If it is impossible for the teacher to provide his lessons, the school undertakes to replace him as soon as possible.
3.4 Students are required to respect the equipment made available to them as well as the cleanliness of the premises (reception, classroom, toilets, etc.). Any degradation will result in the reimbursement of the equipment without the benefit of discussion.
3.5 Any absence must be reported directly to school 48 hours minimum before. Only declarations by telephone or by email addressed to the school are taken into account; there is no need to send text messages to the teachers.
3.5.1 Predicted absences will in no case be refundable or deductible from payments but give access to make-up on days and times fixed by mutual agreement between the teacher, the student and the management. Absences to catch-ups are in no case made up for again. No catch-up will be granted once the current term has ended.
3.5.2 Declarations of absence that do not respect the deadline mentioned above are not taken into account. Indeed, the course will be due and not recoverable. The amount of the session will in no case be deducted or refunded.
3.6 Parents or guardians retain full responsibility for their children outside of class. The reception staff can in no case be entrusted with the care of children before or after their lessons, even in the event of cancellation of the course (eg : sick teacher).
3.6.1 Parents are required to accompany the children to their classroom and pick them up at the end of the lesson at the door of the room. A minor student can only exceptionally be authorized to leave his lesson before the end of it, on condition that he comes to pick him up in the classroom.
4. COURSE ORGANIZATION
4.1 The duration of lessons or group workshops is 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the discipline and level. As students are part of a global structure, their lesson times are likely to be postponed or modified. An information letter or email will be sent to students and parents 7 days before the date of the next lesson.
4.2 The School of Mediterranean Music reserves the right to cancel a course if the number of registered students proves to be insufficient to be able to maintain it.
5. RIGHT OF IMAGE
5.1 In the context of lessons or shows, " EMM " may use or film these images for promotional or commercial purposes. By signing this regulation you authorize EMM to use your image or that of your minor children.
6. HOURS – CANCELLATION – HOLIDAYS
6.1 The days and times of lessons are fixed at the beginning of the year by mutual agreement between the student or his parents, the teacher and the administration according to the availability of the rooms and the teacher of the chosen discipline and this for the entire school year. No refund will be granted in the event of a change of schedule on your part if no other time slot is possible.
6.2 Similarly, no reimbursement is possible in the event of a change of teacher due to force majeure (absence of the teacher for sick leave, maternity leave, departure abroad).
6.3 In the event of a definitive or exceptional change of schedule (in particular in the event of catching up) we will proceed in the same way as for the initial choice to the extent of our possibilities.
6.4 In any case, the term remains payable in full and no course is deductible.
6.5 As all registrations are considered valid for the entire school year, cancellations will only be taken into consideration if they have reached us by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, duly signed and dated before the date of December 10, 2017 for the second term and March 15, 2018 for the third term of the school year. After studying all the elements of the file, the school reserves the right to accept or refuse the cancellation file. A response by registered letter will be addressed to the student.
6.6 No cancellation is accepted for the 1er trimestre.
6.7 No make-up lessons will be made on days when our establishment is closed.
6.8 The school calendar is aligned with that of the Zone C school year. There are no classes during school holidays. However, there may be some differences; the schedule for the year is communicated to you in your registration file and on the school's website: www.emm-paris.com
