Pedagogy is really at the center of the School's method. A real pedagogy which aims more at the assimilation and mastery of a teaching distilled slowly but surely, rather than a superficial and too rapid approach.
This year I discovered the musical culture courses and I can no longer conceive of learning the oud without this parallel teaching, which fixes the theoretical knowledge and leads us to know the songs in each mode. It's a real immersion in the music.
Finally, the fact of being in school and regularly rubbing shoulders with other students is an asset, first of all for the pleasure of encounters and to discuss music, which invigorates the passion.

AThe music taught at the EMM embraces several countries. What strikes above all in the students of the EMM is the sharing of the same passion, that of music and I think that it is only possible because its Director as well as its collaborators manage to communicate it and to federate. During the EMM oud lessons, I worked on the agility of my wrist, the accuracy of the notes that must be constantly refined (work with the tuner); the playing of the plectrum and its velocity...the integration of rhythm and the regularity of the playing, the acquisition of music theory and work on scores.
